Shipping policy


CHRISTMAS 2023 DELIVERY DATES

The last date for orders to arrive in time for Christmas is Sunday 17th December at 5PM.

Orders placed after this date will NOT be processed in time to arrive before Christmas Day.

At this busy time of year it is possible that couriers may experience delays in delivery schedules - we therefore recommend that you order in plenty of time. Last minute purchases may not arrive in time for Christmas Day and we accept no responsibility in such circumstances.

The Distillery will be closed for the festive period from Thursday 21st December and will reopen at 9AM on Tuesday 2nd January 2024.

NATIONAL UK DELIVERY

We offer nationwide delivery to all areas of the UK via Royal Mail and DPD Next Day express services.

Orders of alcohol will be dispatched via DPD. Orders for accessories or other non-alcoholic products may be dispatched via Royal Mail. 

Please note that, due to persistent issues with suspected theft, we no longer use APC services (franchised via Swift Despatch/EDS Couriers).

You will receive a dispatch confirmation email (and SMS text message) once we've processed your order. This email contains a tracking reference with a link to the tracking website. Check your junk mail folder if you cannot find this email before contacting us. DPD will also provide you with a time-slot in which you should expect to receive your delivery.

You must ensure that an adult over the age of 18 is present to receive any items that contain alcohol. If nobody is available to take delivery, you will receive a missed delivery card with further instructions from APC.

DISTILLERY SHOP

If you are local to the Distillery you can choose to click 'n collect your order free of charge or pop in to make a purchase. The Distillery Shop is open Monday to Wednesday from 9AM to 4PM. Please note that access to the Distillery production areas and to the Gallery Bar is by appointment only or to one of our ticketed events and we are unable to provide tours at any other time.

ISLE OF MAN

We offer delivery to the Isle of Man with a flat rate of £10.00 per consignment via ParcelForce. Please ensure that you select 'Isle of Man' as the shipping country on checkout.

EUROPE

We ship to selected European destinations via ParcelForce. Ensure that you choose the correct destination country for delivery from the dropdown menu during checkout. Different rates apply and not all destinations are available. 

Please note: customs duties, VAT, and import clearance fees will be liable for payment by the recipient. You should consult the destination country's official government advice for details on costs. All additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient. 

Refusal to pay the local import duties and taxes will result in the goods either being:

  • destroyed by customs; or
  • returned to sender at the cost of the consignee (costs will be deducted from any refund owed).

It is critical you provide an email address and contact number (mobile preferred) for the intended recipient during the checkout process. This is because the local customs office may need to contact the recipient to obtain a few details in order to release the order to the shipping address.

If your order is being held by your local customs office, you will be able to determine this from the information viewable through the tracking process.

REST OF WORLD

Due to the complexity of customs and excise requirements, we do not currently ship to international customers outside the areas listed above. One of our retail partners may be able to assist. Contact us for information.

ORDER PROCESSING TIMES

Our team works as quickly as possible to process the orders we receive. Orders are processed, by order of date/time received.

It may take 2-4 working days for your order to be processed and delivered.

As a general guide: national (UK) orders placed from Monday to Wednesday inclusive will usually arrive before the end of the same week. Orders placed on Thursday to Sunday inclusive will usually arrive early the following week.

DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS

We refer any delivery instructions supplied to us during the checkout process to the courier handling your parcel. However, we accept no liability or responsibility for any failure by the courier to follow those instructions.

INCORRECT ADDRESS DETAILS OR RETURNED ITEMS

We accept no liability or responsibility for any deliveries that may be missing or delayed as a result of incorrect or incomplete shipping details being provided during checkout. If you identify an error after placing an order, contact us immediately and we will attempt to amend the details before your order is processed. Orders which have been processed for delivery cannot be amended.

If an item is returned to us as undelivered, whether the result of incorrect/missing shipping details or repeated but unsuccessful delivery attempts, we will not be held liable for the costs of re-delivering that item. We will resend the order once payment for shipping has been made.
