Spring seasonal expression
Springfever is the Spring seasonal expression in the Tappers range. The name comes from the term ‘spring fever’, often used to describe feelings of restlessness and excitement which accompany a lift in spirits at the start of Springtime. Inspired by the British Springtime and produced in small batches only when nature begins to flourish again after cold Wintertide, Springfever is a floral – but not flowery – gin.
Springfever is independently produced in small batches entirely by hand from start to finish in the seaside town of West Kirby, Wirral. The resulting tipple – like all compounded gin – has a natural amber-hue from the infused juniper berries. Each 50cl bottle is individually filled, labelled and wax sealed by hand.
Springfever gathers a bouquet of British favourites including gorse flowers, cowslip flowers, elderflowers, orange blossom and chamomile to deliver a sweet taste of Springtime. Floral on the nose with a silky smooth mouthfeel and full-bodied, rich notes.
Signature serve: Spring Fizz – 20ml Springfever, 10ml Lanique Rose Liqueur, 10ml Elderflower Liqueur, splash of soda water and top with Prosecco.
Springfever G&T perfect serve: Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic with dried hibiscus petals to garnish.
There are eight botanicals in Springfever Gin including a seasonal selection of gorse flowers (delicately sweet), cowslip flowers (earthy), elderflowers (honey-rich), orange blossom (floral top-notes) and chamomile (smooth and apple-like) which combine to create a sweet, floral, gin reminiscent of a walk through the British countryside.
