Summer seasonal expression
Three Fine Days is the Summer seasonal expression in the Tappers range. Produced in small batches only when the rain is warmer than normal, Three Fine Days is named after the perceptive description of the Great British Summer which is said to consist of “Three Fine Days and a Thunderstorm”.
Three Fine Days is independently produced in small batches entirely by hand from start to finish in the seaside town of West Kirby, Wirral. The resulting tipple – like all compounded gin – has a natural amber-hue from the infused juniper berries. Each 50cl bottle is individually filled, labelled and wax sealed by hand.
Three Fine Days brings together a medley of lemon peel, lemon verbena, lemon balm, grapefruit peel and hawthorn leaves to deliver a refreshing, mouth-watering twist on a classic citrus gin for Summertime. Citrus notes lead throughout with grapefruit and lemon lingering on the nose and palate. Sweet and zesty, with a delicate mouthfeel.
Signature serve: English Breakfast Martini – 50ml Three Fine Days Gin, 15ml triple sec, 15ml freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of fine cut English Orange Marmalade. Garnish with a twist of orange peel (or cut of toast if feeling adventurous).
Three Fine Days G&T perfect serve: Fever-Tree Premium Indian Tonic Water and a wheel of lemon to garnish.
There are eight botanicals in Thee Fine Days Gin including a seasonal selection of lemon peel (sweet and warm), lemon verbena (deeply aromatic), lemon balm (light, delicate, citrus), grapefruit peel (tangy, sweet, citrus) and hawthorn leaves (sharp, tart) which combine to create a refreshing, citrus gin perfect for a long drink on a hot Summer’s day.
