Wintergreen is the winter seasonal gin in our range, inspired by the British wintertide with an aromatic arrangement of seasonal botanicals.
The name Wintergreen comes from the group of aromatic plants which remain “ever green” throughout the Winter period. We only release Wintergreen Gin when the frosts set in and every breath forms a cloud.
We produce Wintergreen using a traditional method of cold-compounding. As a result, nothing is distilled away and the spirit retains the full intense botanical flavour and aroma. This also lends Wintergreen a beautiful amber hue and full-bodied mouthfeel.
We infuse an aromatic arrangement of winter botanicals to create Wintergreen. Pine needles and juniper berries abound to release the whole forest out of the glass. Birch bark and meadowsweet add crisp bright notes with cassia leaving a warm botanical nip on the finish. This is one to enjoy by the roaring fireside.
Signature serve: Après Ski – 30ml Wintergreen Gin, 30ml Crème de Cassis, 15ml freshly squeezed lime juice, and top with 30ml soda water.
G&T perfect serve: Fever-Tree Aromatic Tonic with a light sprinkling of blueberries to garnish.
For the more adventurous: Pine Old Fashioned – 60ml Wintergreen Gin, 15ml simple syrup, 2 dashes of bitters. Stir all ingredients in a rocks glass. Fill the glass with ice and stir again to chill. Garnish with a pine sprig.
