Become a distiller for the day!
Join us at Merseyside's largest craft Distillery & Gin School for a tour and hands-on session where you'll distil your very own 70cl bottle of gin - the traditional and authentic way using a copper pot alembic!
The session will commence in the Gallery Bar with complimentary Brightside Gin & Tonic and an introduction to Tappers and to our Gin School, with some handy tips to help inspire you with crafting your very own recipe.
Once everyone is ready, we'll then head downstairs where you'll take up position at your distilling station and select from an exciting array of exotic all-natural botanicals to create your very own recipe. As the stills are fired up and bubble away, we'll chat with you about our award-winning range and what makes Tappers stand out from the crowd.
Once the distillation is finished, you'll bottle the result and give your new creation its very own name on a label affixed to the front!
Afterwards, we'll retire to the Gallery Bar where you can either enjoy a full G&T serve with your new masterpiece or, if you'd prefer to save it for a special occasion, complimentary Brightside G&Ts to finish the session.
And, don't panic - we'll keep your (confidential!) recipe on hand so that you can order your own gin again to enjoy on those special occasions.
Spectators - we permit one spectator ticket (at a reduced entry price) per distiller ticket, so feel free to come along and offer moral support!
NB: If you'd like to book a private Gin Making Experience for a group of 4-6, we're happy to accommodate additional dates at your convenience.
